Gear Review: Jetboil CrunchIt Fuel Can Recycling Tool
Ok- I just bought the new CrunchIt from Jetboil to recycle a cache of old empty butane canisters that have been sitting around my gear room. First impression.......why didn't I think of that! Super simple to use, I just threaded the CrunchIt on to an EMPTY canister (the CrunchIt will purge some fuel out of the canister- if it doesn't stop after a few seconds stop and use the canister until empty), then press down onto the canister to puncture it. Kind of works like a can opener! With a hole in the canister it is ready to go to the recycling bin. Simple- light weight and actually fun to do.
