The snow pack is finally diminishing and our warmer weather is to be embraced after a long hard winter! We have been busy planning plenty of events for you and your family to get outside and enjoy the Upper Peninsula spring! Check out these events for you to get prepared for summer!
April 4-6th – Boat, Sport & RV Show – Superior Dome
The Recreation Show at the Superior Dome is coming up April 4-6th and we are super excited about the show this year as we have a fantastic line up of the new 2025 bikes, boats and stand-up boards. The stores are fully stocked and we are ready to get you out on the trails and in the water. No need to wait as we are offering killer prices on all these goods now throughout the end of the show at all three of our store locations. This sale will be our lowest prices of the spring/summer and we guarantee it! Stop by any of our stores now- or at the dome and pick out a new toy to play with this summer!

May 24th-26th – Ride the Keweenaw
Ride the Keweenaw invites you to explore the incredible natural beauty and recreational trails of the Keweenaw region. Experience the Copper Country’s best trails, from Söké to Copper Harbor and everything in between. Join us this Memorial Day weekend for three action-packed days of mountain biking!

Join the staff at Down Wind Sports Houghton for our E-Bike Extravaganza to learn about and test ride e bikes! May 31st from 10-3pm we will be set up at Bridgeview Park with all of the latest ebikes from Giant Bicycle. If you have it, please bring your bike helmet and drivers license to check out a bike. We will have a limited number of helmets for those who don’t own one yet. Rain date June 1st
